We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement & Contracts Officer to join our newly formed internal Procurement team.

The role requires excellent communication, strong IT skills and the ability to work collaboratively. You will support and assist the Procurement Manager on procuring goods and services. It’s an exciting time to join Aspire Housing with the Procurement service being brought back in house from an outsourced solution.

Initially the Procurement & Contracts Officer will support the Procurement Manager in setting the foundations for a successful procurement function. There will be a key focus on working collaboratively with the business and establishing those crucial links with colleagues and suppliers. Responsibilities will include supporting with the management of procurement projects, maintaining contracts register and supplier details on the procurement software and ensuring execution of contracts. You will support the Procurement Manager to ensure projects deliver best value, drive performance and achieve the required quality, supporting our aims and objectives. Also, you will support in ensuring from a procurement perspective we meet our regulatory, legislative and governance requirements.
