Why You?

As People and Development Manager,you will provide support to the management team by providing advice, guidanceand support, assisting where required with management recruitment and training.You will be responsible for colleague relations, people activities and initiativesand manage the department in the absence of the People and DevelopmentDirector.

You will be working with a teamwho aspire to be a great place to work, delivering an inspirational colleagueexperience and living our beliefs in everything we do. You will also help, assistwith special projects and supporting the Director of People and Developmentwith people activities and initiatives. You will work with brilliant colleaguesacross the hotel so that we are one team delivering a seamless and memorableguest experience.

What do we need from you?

  • At least 2 years previous experience as a HR Officer or Business Partner within a luxury or lifestyle hotel is essential
  • Have a passion for colleague experience, engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • CIPD qualified at least to Level 5
  • Exceptional understanding of the English language, verbal & written
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Strong IT Skills and experience working with Fourth Hospitality is beneficial
  • Calm under pressure
  • Energetic & enthusiastic about their career in HR in Hospitality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and exceptional attention to detail

This role is predominatelyMonday to Friday, normal office hours, 40 hours per week, on-site and requiresan element of flexibility with regards to people events.
