This SME, family-owned manufacturing business have an impressive history and an even more impressive range of customers they work with. As their consistent path of growth continues, it is time to introduce a new pinnacle point of the operation, reporting into the MD.

This business, like many other SME’s, might not suit everyone. If you’re someone from the vast corporate world, and you’re used to fulfilling a very defined role in a structured environment, never venturing out of your comfort zone, then it won’t be for you. If you are someone who thrives on chaos, loves wearing multiple hats and backs themselves to succeed …. we should talk!

The experience required is flexible. This isn’t a business where you must have 5 years’ experience in this or that to succeed. It’s much more about YOU, what you can bring to the table & your precise character. That being said, the ideal experience is here:

Production/Operations Management experience within manufacturing – ideally a complicated or unorthodox production process
Smaller business exposure over big corporate – open to being proved wrong!
A solutions-focussed approach, with an open mind to finding the right answers
Ability to manage mid-level management staff and hold high-level strategic talks with the MD
