This business, like many other SME’s, might not suit everyone. If you’re someone from the vast corporate world, and you’re used to fulfilling a very defined role in a structured environment, never venturing out of your comfort zone, then it won’t be for you. The experience required is flexible. This isn’t a business where you must have 5 years’ experience in this or that to succeed. It’s much more about YOU, what you can bring to the table & your precise character. That being said, the ideal experience is here:
Production/Operations Management experience within manufacturing – ideally a complicated or unorthodox production process
Smaller business exposure over big corporate – open to being proved wrong!
A solutions-focussed approach, with an open mind to finding the right answers
Ability to manage mid-level management staff and hold high-level strategic talks with the MD
