Customer Sevice Assistant, Office Administrator – Burnley

My client is a product supplier to the kitchen retail industry and has been a thriving business since 2018.

Driven by their strong values and exceptional reputation within the industry my client can boast significant growth in both their sales and product range.

They are ready to add to their team, based in their Burnley office, and are on the lookout for an experienced office administrator to provide vital administrative support to the team, processing and supporting a wide range of service requests.

You must have strong customer service/customer-facing skills with at least a couple of years of experience in office administration and customer service.

As an experienced Customer service assistant / Office Administrator you will have most of the following experience;

* Strong experience in using Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, Outlook etc
* Desire to learn new skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Approachable and professional
* Good time management, organisational and administration skills
* Ability to multi-task
* An attention to detail
* Self-motivated
* Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and able to take responsibility

Responsibilities:

* Answer and transfer calls, take messages, and handle queries
* Input incoming orders into the system
* Arrange shipping notes for the warehouse
* Carry out any other general office administration tasks as required, including filing, maintaining records, copying documents, scheduling appointments, and answering queries which form part of the overall day-to-day smooth running of the team
* Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems, and developments
* Review current processes and implement improvements where necessary
* Packing orders on occasions, where required
* Maintain website and social media profiles
* Email communication to customers with information and offers
* On occasions, outbound telesales calls to bring new accounts on board
