Office & HR Administrator

Remote (with regular travel to Cambridge)

Salary - £22,000 - 25,000

We are collaboration focused, with a determination and passion for technology, our people and the environment and we are looking for an HR & Office Administrator to join our team.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our remote team in our fast growing company. You will support employees based in the UK, Germany and US, as well as manage the day to day administration of our Cambridge office.

HR

  • Produce accurate and timely payroll details (including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions) through our outsourced provider
  • Provide support for HR initiatives, hiring, onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records
  • Ensure HR policies are up to date and reviewed as required
  • Assist with benefits administration (e.g., company cars and pensions)
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies

Office Administration

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the remote ‘office’ and our office in Cambridge
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, team events and meetings
  • Manage office supplies, employee hardware and merchandise inventory
  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Controller as required

What we need from you

Ideally based in the Cambridge area, with at least 1 years experience in HR or office administration and working with sensitive information, you also have;

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience in event planning and booking travel
  • Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides). Experience HRIS software would be advantageous
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working in a remote office environment or a scale up company would be a bonus
