Role Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join a vibrant nursery in Penge, specifically in the pre-school room.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to lead a team and make a significant impact on the early years' education of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pre-school room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities and educational experiences tailored to the needs and interests of each child.
• Monitor and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and sharing progress with parents and carers.
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals, fostering a supportive and cohesive work environment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional development and transition within the nursery.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting, with experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support others in their roles.
