Multi Skilled Maintenance EngineerJob Type: Full-time, permanent - DAYS ONLY, MON - FRILocation: RochesterSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annumWe are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's rapidly growing manufacturing facility. This hands-on role involves commissioning, repair, servicing, and validation of machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and support from the Engineering team, learning to troubleshoot and maintain various types of industrial manufacturing equipment. You will play a crucial role in conducting planned and reactive maintenance tasks to maximise output and efficiency across our production lines.Day to Day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Role:Engage in fault finding and repair, Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks, Reactive maintenance work, and small improvement projects.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.Effectively resolve breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise 'downtime'.Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance as required.Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the business.Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering qualifications - BTEC/C&G/HNC/Degree (essential).At least 3 years' practical experience in a similar engineering role (essential).Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.A proactive 'can do' attitude and positive approach to complex tasks.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Benefits for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:Private healthcareAnnual salary reviewsIncentive schemesComprehensive training and support.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.Career growth as you expand your skills and knowledge.To apply for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position, please submit your CV and Reed Engineering looks forward to speaking
