Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Hull

Questech Recruitment are currently looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team at one of our well know manufacturing clients in Hull.The RoleTo provide the required technical support to the site to ensure maximum utilisation of plant, systems and machinery whilst maintaining the company standards of quality, productivity, environment and health & safety areas.Main Duties & Responsibilities * Maintain the engineering capability of the plant in line with the needs of the business. * To monitor and maintain the planned maintenance system. * To highlight to the appropriate personnel any potentially serious breakdown situations. * To ensure effective crew handovers. * To ensure effective communication with all relevant departments. * To ensure engineering compliance with Company, site and statutory health and safety policies, procedures and regulations. * Contribute to the upgrade, service and installation of all new and existing equipment. * To maintain an adequate supply of essential spares. * To support the promotion and maintenance of the team working philosophy. * To assist with/arrange the maintenance of site services as appropriate.Salary Depending on experience £40,000 to £50,000Hours of work: 4 on 4 off (4 days 4 off 4 nights 4 off) 7 till 7Main AccountabilitiesIn proportion to job responsibilities: * To ensure knowledge of and compliance with all food safety & quality policies and procedures. * To ensure knowledge of and compliance with all health & safety policies and procedures. * To assist with the training and development of others. * To ensure effective communication. * To ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Company policies and procedures.Skill Set & Experience Required * Recognised and validated maintenance engineering qualification or certificate training to NVQ Level 3 standard Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) * Time served apprenticeship * Standards and systems: Demonstrates an understanding for compliance and quality of all food safety and quality polices and procedures. * Core values: To adopt and proactively promote Company core and team values. * Commitment to process and results: Demonstrates a desire to question processes and efficiency and to seek change. * Team working: Demonstrates an ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team. * Information management: Demonstrates that information is used and managed correctly. * HSE: Demonstrates understanding, awareness and compliance of all health & safety policies and procedures. * GMP: Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.To be considered for this role please apply with your most up to date CV or alternativley for more information about this role please contact Simon on (phone number removed)
