Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Heybridge Basin

Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? Our client in Maldon is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the effective and efficient repair and maintenance of machinery and facilities.Responsible for effective and efficient activities in repairing all machinery to National Standards. These activities include Planned Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Equipment reliability as well as using the CMMS system for the maintenance department. Optimizing equipment reliability through a continuous improvement plan and actively respecting all values with regards to Safety and training. Key Duties include but are not limited to: Aware of all IEEE, BS7671 Wiring Regs and Electricity at Work regulationsEnsuring that safety, quality, customer service and costs goals for engineering and reliability are successfully achievedWill be responsible for the facility maintenanceUse the CMMS program to provide optimum reliability for the operation of manufacturing and ancillary systemsPromote and generate improvement ideas and takes responsibility to complete on time and budgetResponsible for plant facility and ancillary servicesCompletion of relevant records of faults and projects carried out Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer positionMaintenance engineering apprenticeshipHNC/ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field would be beneficialQualified to 18th edition desiredExperience with using lathe, milling machine to produce tooling and parts such as bushes, shafts couplings etc.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, electronic drives and controls.Experience of AC and DC drives is advantageousAwareness of basic PLC fault findingAbility to read and interpret maintenance documents i.e. electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams Great Benefits to working for this company include:Up to 7.5% pension matchedBonus SchemeFree Parking25 days holiday plus Bank holidaysFree tea & coffee If you feel like you meet the above criteria & would like to be considered for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position, please apply with your CV and contact Mark at Prime Appointments for a confidential chat
