Medical Secretary in Salford

Medical Secretary required on a temporary basis for a fast paced and busy doctors surgery based in Levenshulme.

The ideal person will have previous experience of working recently as a Medical Secretary and must have worked with EMIS and GATEWAY for dealing with the referrals.

The role will be working 30 hours per week, between 8am and 6.

30pm, although other variations could be considered.

The pay rate is £13.

30ph per hour and offers weekly pay and an immediate start.

What will you be doing as a Medical Secretary?

Supporting the GPs with the referrals when they are sent through Processing the information through the system using EMIS and GATEWAY Updating on progress and flagging up any potential issues Completing all the necessary administration tasks Actioning requests for information to be sent/retrieved for Doctors/Nurses/Healthcare professionals and process prescriptions in line with policy We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience: Previous medical secretarial experience It is essential to have worked on both EMIS and GATEWAY Able to prioritise workload and multitask as this is a fast paced role Confident in own administration ability Keen eye for detail when processing information Must be able to work confidentially and comply to data protection What's in it for you as a Medical Secretary?
