About the Role

Southend Medical Centre has an opportunity for a medical administrator to join our friendly team - this is a part time role. Work pattern: Monday, Tuesday & Friday 9am-2pm – 15 hours.

Duties will include updating patient record details, monitoring and responding to emails, scanning patient letters and correspondence along with processing electronic and manual referrals, cancer care pathway referrals and Safeguarding processing and reporting.

About the Candidate The candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, have a good telephone manner, be computer literate, be able to work under pressure and always maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team. General practice experience and knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given. About Us
