Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a heavy engineering company to recruit a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join their facility in Sheffield.Salary: £44,000 plus OT and bonusHours: Shifts - 4 on 4 off- 6 till 6 am/pmReporting to the Shift Engineer the Mechanical Shift Engineer works as part of a multifunctional maintenance team on shifts, carrying out planned and unplanned work as necessary.Benefits:Training and Development28 days holiday with 2 good attendance days if you have no absenceWestfield Health Level 1Specsavers VouchersGrab A Steel – discounts and money off02 discountAttractive pension schemeCycle to work schemeCostco MembershipUnion RepresentativeDuties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Shift Engineer include: Carrying out mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and process work (planned / unplanned) occurring on the plantLiaising with Shift Engineers to prioritise the workloadAssist the Shift Engineer to maximise the plant availabilityAssist, carry out and support the PM activitiesResponding to 1st line maintenance requirements, performing hands-on maintenance to deal with the task safely and effectivelyEnsuring the appropriate use of CMMS (Agility) throughout the shift operations.Creating appropriate engineering reports and providing sound justification for their shift.Assisting mechanical engineering activities on their shift to comply with all internal and external health, safety, and environmental requirements.
