Mechanical Maintenance EngineerLocation: Mildenhall, SuffolkExciting opportunities have emerged within a non-lethal training ammunition company, which is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to spearhead projects and innovate new products.

Position Summary: * Diagnose and troubleshoot machine and equipment issues.

* Disassemble machines and equipment as needed to replace worn mechanical parts.

* Identify and procure spare parts necessary for maintaining continuous production operations.

* Investigate and propose enhancements or cost-saving measures.

* Operate and maintain lathe machines and associated equipment.

Required Skills and Experience: * Proven experience with production machinery, especially lathe machines.

* Background in performing maintenance roles within a production environment.

* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to disassemble machines and replace components such as bearings and conveyor belts.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and lead projects effectively.

* Familiarity with maintenance best practices and safety protocols.
