Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in the Bournemouth area.

The Company:The Company are the UK’s leading purpose-built site for organics recycling and renewable energy generation.

The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of preventative and reactive plant maintenance and will offer guidance and leadership to junior engineers.

As well as this, the successful candidate will perform mechanical fault finding on plant machinery and work on hydraulic hoses, pumps, gear boxes, motors, excavators, loading shovels and telehandlers.

This role involves working inside in the workshop and outside in the elements so you must be comfortable working in harsh weather conditions at times.

About you: * Mechanical Engineering background * Previous experience working with hydraulics, large plant machinery, pumps, gearboxes, motors * Heavy manufacturing / manufacturing / HGV Mechanic backgroundPackage: * £45,000 per year * 23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing 1 day per year) * Day shift Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm * 5% employer pension contribution * Bonus scheme * Free parking on siteIf you are interested, please call Ben Critchley on (phone number removed) or apply online*Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position**Sponsorship is not available
