Job description (no sponsorship available)First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.What's on Offer:Temp (probation) to perm after 12 weeksPaying £15 per hour while under temp (probation) through agencyPaying circa £13.50 per hour once permanent39hr work week4.5 day work week7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm FriOT 1.5xThis role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation, of products on the premise.Duties will involve the following:assembly of mechanical components on a workbenchreading design and assembly drawingsmaking use of power toolEssential skills, experience and knowledge:The successful candidate must have:experience of mechanical assemblyexperience of reading engineering drawingsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business, who can offer long-term stability & career progression for the right candidates.
