Location: Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire


Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time


Salary: £28, - £32, per annum, depending on experience

  • About Our Client:


    Our client, a leading packaging company, is seeking a skilled Materials Administrator to join their team. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, our client is committed to delivering high-quality products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations.


    Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers and other team members to manage customer projects and orders

  • Establish customer requirements and categorise them as standard, customised, or bespoke products

  • Provide samples, pricing, and supply details to customers and resolve any queries

  • Review customer orders and pass them to the Customer and Sales Support team for processing

  • Assist in materials development administration tasks, such as updating product inventory and managing obsolescence

  • Work closely with the Materials Technical Team to ensure accurate pricing and lead times

  • Manage a portfolio of projects, identifying and addressing any barriers to timely completion


  • Essential Skills:



  • Strong organisational and analytical skills

  • Methodical approach with attention to detail

  • Excellent numeracy skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer service focus


  • Desirable:



  • Experience in the packaging industry

  • Knowledge of materials, specifications, and stock management

  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously


  • Due to the location, you must be able to drive and have your own transport.
