Marketing Manager in Henley-on-Thames

Are you a Marketing Manager passionate about hospitality, food and drink? We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Marketing Manager. The group consists of 10 premium and award-winning pubs and boutique bedrooms spanning from the Cotswolds to our heartland Oxfordshire.

The new Marketing Manager will be self-motivated, driven, results-orientated and have a glass half full attitude. You will be part of the Management team working alongside head of food, people, finance and our operation managers. You might have experience in Marketing in hospitality or a retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Own and develop the brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels including digital and print.

• Review and enhance the guest journey and ensure UX is optimized for conversion to maximise table reservations, room bookings and meeting and events bookings.

• Create and implement an annual central marketing plan and budget.

• Create quarterly marketing and event plans for the individual pubs in collaboration with the General Manager and Operations Manager.

• Create a personalised and targeted communication plan utilising the CRM system to encourage repeat visits and brand/pub loyalty.

• Have a strong understanding of SEO & PPC.

• Strong understanding of growing engagement and executing paid ads on social media channels.

• Working closely with the Head of food in maximising sales opportunities via menu engineering.

• Working closely with the Operation Managers to ensure alignment of business objectives.

• Manage multiple design projects, outsourcing and prioritising as necessary.

• Unlocking investment and activations with the multiple drinks suppliers.

• Manage SM agency for a pub, continue to drive ROI to role to other locations.

• Champion B2B and B2C PR & awards.

• Manage and support the development of a Marketing Assistant.

• Creating central comms plan for SM channels and creating inspiration & support for in house social media coordinators.

• Utilising guest data via Reputation to inform business decisions.

• Support team training as necessary – SMC, GM’s, systems, drinks suppliers etc.

• Responsible for food, drink, people and room photography as needed

• Keep up to date with marketing and industry trends to make more informed decisions and stay head of the competition.

About you

• Minimum 4 years marketing experience, ideally in the hospitality/food & drink/retail industry.

• As part of the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO you will be a confident communicator.

• Ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects at once.

• A great collaborator and stakeholder management with the wider team.

• People management preferred but not essential.

• An interest and knowledge in food and drink trends.

• Commercial, numerate, and analytical.

• Capability to convert insights into action.

• Previous experience of Design my Night, Orderbee, and Airship would be beneficial but not essential.
