As the Marketing Manager for our Japan office, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing marketing strategies to promote our cutting-edge quantum computing solutions.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including regional executives, product development, sales, and marketing, you will ensure the effective introduction and continuous promotion of our quantum hardware products within the Japanese market.

We are developing quantum software , applications, and hardware that will have a future impact on our everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand the latest trends, customer needs, and the competitive environment within Japan's quantum computing hardware sector.
  • Analyze market dynamics to accurately define target audiences and positioning for our products.
  • Conduct competitive analysis on a regular basis to monitor and drive insights that are valuable in the APAC region.


  • Product Positioning and Messaging:
  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that distinctly highlights the advantages of our quantum computing hardware, tailored for the Japanese market.
  • Work with technical teams to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, impactful messages suitable for various local audiences.


  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans specifically for new product launches in Japan.
  • Establish detailed launch plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities tailored to enhance product awareness and adoption in the Japanese market.


  • Collateral and Content Creation:
  • Produce marketing materials such as product datasheets, whitepapers, presentations, and case studies, ensuring they resonate with the Japanese business culture and market expectations.
  • Generate content for both online and offline channels, maintaining consistency in messaging and branding that appeals to Japanese audiences.


  • Sales Enablement:
  • Partner with the sales team to develop effective sales tools and training materials that are customized for the Japanese market.
  • Support customer-facing activities, including product demonstrations and presentations, with a focus on engaging Japanese customers.


  • Customer Engagement:
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential customers in Japan.
  • Collect feedback from Japanese customers to inform ongoing product development and marketing strategies.


  • Communications and Public Relations:
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation within the Japanese market.
  • Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, coordinating interviews, and handling media inquiries.
  • Leverage social media and other digital platforms to engage with the target audience and amplify marketing messages.
  • Monitor and respond to public and media perceptions to maintain a positive company image.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in Business-to-Business (B2B marketing, particularly with complex and innovative technologies, within the Japanese market.
  • Strong leadership presence to liaise with regional GM, partners, and customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in communications and public relations, including media relations and social media management.
