Management Accountant in Romford

Management Accountant Required! Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of high-precision grinding and polishing equipment, particularly for the diamond tooling industry. Due to ongoing success, they are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a part-time basis. Position Overview: Part-time position working 2-3 days per week. £35,000 - £40,000 salary (DOE)The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting and be capable of providing insightful financial analysis, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities: Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth. Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making. Produce month end and year end journals. Prepare statutory and management accounts. Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process. Manage capital expenditure. Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations. Lead, manage, guide and motivate a team. Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.*Please note this is not an exhaustive list and the responsibilities may change in line with our clients need Requirements: A recognised accounting qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial regulations. Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail. Proficient using Sage 200 Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Willing to work additional hours when required at busy periods.
