A rapidly expanding and acquisitive business in North Preston are looking to employ an additional member of staff within their finance function due to significant growth.

This is a varied role covering a broad spectrum of finance duties to include management accounting and month end processing, supporting with year end requirements and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. You will also gain exposure to M&A activity, working alongside a team of high-calibre accounting professionals.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:

Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller, as Management Accountant duties will include:

•Preparing month end management accounts with commentary and analysis
•Supporting with year end accounting process including audit
•Preparation of budgets and forecasts
•Providing support to junior members of the finance team as required
•Involvement in ad hoc projects relating to growth, acquisition and continual improvements

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will be actively studying CIMA/ACCA or already hold full qualification. Experience within a medium to large business, working with large volumes of data is desirable along with strong systems skills including Excel. A background within accountancy practice is advantageous but not essential and strong analytical capabilities are required.
