ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to our Head of Finance and working closely with our part-time Assistant Management Accountant.

Success looks like:

  • Timely and accurate reporting of month-end information and variance analysis

  • Adoption of our new SaaS ERP (NetSuite) and AP Automation Tool (Tipalti) following both systems going live in July 2024


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your core areas of focus across the organisation will be:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, with a core focus on our P&L

  • Support annual budgeting and continuous forecasting processes

  • Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for both revenue maximisation and cost optimisation

  • Assist in financial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support as needed

  • Assist our External Accountants and the HoF in the preparation of year-end financial statements, and our first external audit

  • Contribute to process improvements and assist with the adoption of NetSuite (our new ERP) and Tipalti (our new AP Automation Tool)


WHAT YOU’LL GET

Remuneration

We’re looking to pay a starting salary of £47,000 - £55,000 for this role, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits as detailed below.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who will have experience in the following areas:

  • Qualified accountant, with up to 2 years post-qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in either a B2B product or a fast-growing e-commerce business

  • Demonstrated understanding and proficient experience working with Netsuite

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SaaS ERP and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Xero)

  • Proactive and self-motivated with an eagerness for development

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to be an innovative problem solver

  • Someone who embodies our values of Do Good, Take Ownership, Drive Innovation and Open Communication

Bonus Points - these are nonessential, but great if you have them!

  • Previous experience working on e-Commerce

  • Previous experience working with audits

  • Specific FP&A experience
