We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Construction Learning Support Assistants to join our team at Wirral Met College.

Interviews are taking place at The College on Tuesday 2nd July at 10am.

As construction Learning Support Assistant at Wirral Met College, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with their educational needs whilst they complete their Construction Course.

You will work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, enabling all students to achieve their full potential.

Previous experience of working in a construction environment is not necessary, all that is required is a willingness to support and engage with the young people.

Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.

* Assist in the implementation of Education Healthcare Plans (EHCP) and support strategies.

* Help prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual students.

* Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.

* Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor and record student progress.

* Assist with classroom management and organization.

* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

* Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications and Experience: * Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

If you have worked voluntarily with young people in any capacity it is likely that you have the right skills and attitude for this role.

* A passion for working with students and supporting their educational journey.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

* A relevant qualification in education or support work is an advantage.
