About the role.

We are extremely proud to have our very own Bakkavor CLAS/RSA accredited laboratory and would love for you to come and join us as a ‘Laboratory Administrator’ where you will be required to;

• Support the management of document control within our quality systems.
• Offer administrative support throughout the department to include, but not limited to:

1. raising P/O numbers, ordering, receipting of goods, collaborating with the finance teams, raising invoices, scanning, filing, photocopying and answering emails, collating data, organising laboratory tours, arranging engineer visits

• Dealing with goods inwards and outwards
• Assist with the Administration of the Contractor control system, arrange service and repair visits and ensure compliance documents are kept up to date.
• Supporting the laboratory team by providing cover at the bench during busy periods
• Participate in training and development to self to enhance personal performance.

The role will be based at our Holbeach St Marks Microbiology laboratory but occasionally may be required to work from our Spalding Chemistry laboratory.

About you.

The key skills and experience to be successful in this role include;

• Excellent time management
• Fully IT literate and competent user of MS Office
• Interest in learning science based skills.
• High degree of accuracy, methodical, logical, using a common-sense approach to changing workloads
• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritising tasks without guidance
• Have the ability to own the job from start to finish.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
