Team –  Service Support

Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. 

Full time, 35 hours per week.

    As the Knowledge Operations Manager your role will be to work collaboratively with functions across our business to deliver this ambition.

    You will report into the Head of Supplier and Knowledge Operations and will have a high degree of autonomy in leading the Knowledge Operations function, including a team of content authors and internal and external knowledge repositories. 

    You will be responsible for the delivery of our knowledge strategy and the continual development of the people, processes and platforms which enable knowledge delivery.

    The role will involve significant interaction with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, including senior and executive leadership and therefore requires exceptional communication skills. 

    Key Actions

  • Day to day ownership of the Knowledge Operations function, including internal and customer facing knowledge repositories.
  •  Responsibility for the implementation of the Knowledge Operations strategy.
  • Ongoing development of the knowledge operation including the ideation of solutions to resolve issues and proactively increase effectiveness.
  • Leadership and development of a team of Knowledge Authors.
  • The development of strong and productive relationships with functions across all areas of the organisation
  • Engagement with stakeholders of all levels of seniority, from functional leads, Heads of Department to members of the Exco.
  • Development of a culture of knowledge sharing within the organisation and establishment of the associated benefits.
  • Work with knowledge supporting technologies to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Analysis of operational data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use industry best practice and emerging trends to ensure ongoing refinement of the knowledge function.
  • Effective management of knowledge governance frameworks to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
