Junior Quality Engineer in Buckingham

Position: Junior Quality EngineerLocation: BuckinghamHours: Mon - Thurs Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Quality Engineer to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Buckingham Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Quality Engineer to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.Responsibilities:Inspection and reporting of incoming goods.Generating and presentation of reports.Inspection and sign-off of company's manufactured products.Resolution of supplier and internal Quality issuesInternal and Supplier AuditsLogging and reporting to line managers issues relating to all the above.Support the maintenance of the Company's Quality System (BS EN ISO 9001:2015)Support Engineering, Purchasing and Customer Support with investigations relating to Quality.Communicate effectively with all areas of the business.Managing all non-conforming goods (NCR processes)Raising 8D's Experience Requirements:Ability to read technical drawings and an understanding of mechanical design principles.Measuring / Inspection skills.CMM preferable.Excellent communication skills.An engineering background an advantage.Previous knowledge of a Quality Systems.The ability to hear and listen.Comfortable working on their own and part of a team.If you are interested in this position, please apply with a copy of your CV & a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity with you in further detail.
