Role Overview

Le Chameau is seeking a talented Junior Designer to join our Brand and Marketing team.

This role is initially offered as a one-month freelance contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position based on performance.

As a Junior Designer, you will assist in creating compelling visual content for our digital campaigns and support the marketing and retail teams with various design needs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create and deliver high-quality artwork for the website, social media, email campaigns, digital campaigns, paid advertising, blogs, and e-commerce materials.
  • Choose appropriate images that align with the brand’s aesthetic and campaign goals.
  • Apply strong skills in typography and composition to produce visually appealing designs.
  • Translate marketing messages into engaging and cohesive visual content.
  • Assist the marketing and retail teams with ad-hoc design needs, ensuring consistency with Le Chameau’s brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Creative and other team members to ensure designs meet project briefs and deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback from the Senior Creative and other stakeholders to refine designs.
  • Demonstrate a keen sense of composition, typographic nuance, and visual articulation suitable for a fashion/lifestyle brand.
  • Support campaign and product launch creative ideation with the creative and marketing team.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a digital marketing, social-first, or e-commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong sense of image selection, typography, and composition.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of design work, including digital campaigns, showcasing creative ideas and technical skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
