Andy and Pete are our co-founders and their last job entailed selling tonnes (literally tonnes) of meat. Then they felt bad. Also, they felt like meat-alternatives weren't really for people who love the taste of meat. So they’ve basically ended up making THIS™ for themselves, but they’d love other meat-lovers to give it a go too. THIS™ is a game-changer.

What’s with this role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at THIS™, playing a role in continuing to drive growth within the Grocery channel, and helping us on our journey to being leaders within plant-based. The Grocery channel is a core part of our strategy at THIS, and we have strong plans to continue leading the growth within the category for years to come. This role will be an integral part of the Grocery team, both directly managing customer relationships and supporting the wider team to deliver growth across the entire customer base.

What will you be getting up to?

  • Own commercial relationships with 1-2 existing Grocery accounts including developing, negotiating and delivering exceptional JBPs that deliver for us and our customers
  • Deliver growth in your accounts through identifying and unlocking incremental listing and distribution opportunities
  • Management and tracking of the P&L for your customers to ensure we are delivering against revenue and margin targets
  • Support the wider Grocery team with weekly and monthly EPOS and revenue reporting, promotion analysis and trade spend tracking to becoming a font of knowledge for Grocery performance within the business
  • Support the wider Grocery team in preparation for customer meetings, including managing the sampling process for the team
  • Work collaboratively with the category manager to build selling presentations that are steeped in strong category and consumer rationale
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain to update monthly forecasts for your accounts, flagging opportunities and risk along the way
  • Be a passionate advocate for THIS and the plant-based category to our customers, helping drive the company's mission & vision

What are we looking for?

  • We’re looking for someone with at least 18 months commercial experience (with Grocery experience preferred)
  • Solid commercial skill set – demonstration of a strong understanding of commercial metrics and customer relationships and JBPs
  • Someone with a drive, energy and determination. We’re growing and that means we need people who are iron willed and will demonstrate their true entrepreneurial spirit day in, day out
  • An analytical mindset - someone who can look at bucket loads of data and turn it into the most exciting thing since our bacon
  • Ability and interest to work cross-functionally, we’re a small team and believe that strong collaboration will take us further than working in silos
  • The natural ability to influence colleagues and key external stakeholders
