The Role – Junior Account Assistant   

As a Junior Accounts Assistant within Nova Systems International, you will be an integral part of our Finance International team. You will provide essential accountancy support across all entities within the group, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and contributing to the overall success of the company. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the finance inbox, delegating queries where necessary. 
  • Approve expense claims and invoices in OA. 
  • Allocate specific customer remittances. 
  • Prepare supplier payment runs under supervision. 
  • Reconcile bank accounts under supervision. 
  • Conduct supervised balance sheet reviews and reconciliations. 
  • Support during annual external audits. 
  • Keep skills up-to-date with industry developments. 
  • Support Nova International projects and wider initiatives. 
  • Continuously seek ways to improve service and quality. 
  • Essential Skills & Experience:  

  • Eligibility to work in the UK. 
  • Ability to deliver tasks on time with high autonomy and accuracy, maintaining momentum under pressure. 
  • Flexible, positive, and committed team member with high standards. 
  • Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Commitment to professional development. 
  • Initiative to update both own and colleagues' skills.
