Your primary focus will be on resolving basic hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network problems,and ensuring smooth daily operations of our IT systems.Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide first-line technical support to end-users via various channels, including phone, email, remote support and in-person. * Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. * Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software applications, and security updates. * Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in resolving basic network problems. * Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords. * Educate end-users on basic IT procedures and best practices. * Monitor IT systems to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks. * Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary. * Document all support activities, solutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference. * Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. * Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance your skills and knowledge.Person Specification: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner. * Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts. * Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional supportEducation: * GCSE.
