VANRATH are delighted to be exclusively partnering Northern Ireland Housing Executive who are hiring a permanent IT Project Manager to join their IT Department. Reporting into the IT Project Delivery Services Manager, the team are busy with new IT modernisation projects. Employing more than 3,000 people across Northern Ireland, The Housing Executive is one of the largest housing bodies in the UK and provide a service helping change people’s lives through housing.

Experience and Qualifications – To be assessed at interview

• Possess a degree level qualification (Level 6)

• PRINCE2 Practitioner OR Possess PRINCE2 Foundation qualification and be prepared to successfully complete PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification within a year of commencing role.

• 3 years’ relevant experience leading the delivery of projects or significant work package/s within an IT or business change project environment.

• Using analytical skills and toolsets to develop project documentation and manage communications with project stakeholders, from project initiation through to project closure.

• Management of supplier relationships and/or project resources for successful project delivery.

Summary of Key Responsibilities (A full list of duties/general responsibilities available)

• Delivering programme/projects within agreed timescales and budget/approvals.

• Stakeholder Management across full project lifecycle.

• Develop project delivery and governance processes, including the IT Project Office function.

• Controls and status reporting.

• IT Solution Options identification and appraisal deliverables for Business Case development and approvals.

• Lead and complete Business Analysis for production of Business Requirements, Client Specification or other Statements of Work for IT Projects.

• Project stakeholder engagement and communications for project initiation, planning and execution.

• Management of supplier relationships, project delivery commitments and expenditure.

• Management and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies.

• Strategic planning and governance processes for programme and potential new IT projects, including opportunities for innovation and service improvement.

• Prepare appropriate business cases, tenders and quotations, in line with financial and procurement regulations, policies and procedures and corporate timescales.
