What you'll do

As a member of our Identity and Access Management team, you will play a pivotal role in driving improvements in our products and processes.

Working closely with various stakeholders across the business to help build a strong IAM Capability and working with the Product Owners and Engineering Managers on the whole product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and in line with the organisation’s risk appetite and strategic direction. 

Responsibilities:

  • Business analysis in support of IAM Capability development
  • Support Product Managers and Engineering Managers to identify security and usability requirements across IAM Products
  • Collaborating with stakeholders including Engineers and Support Teams to ensure the IAM requirements are met and understood
  • Conducting privilege access reviews
  • Assist in driving improvements to improve efficiencies and reduce risk
  • Provide input into IAM Policy to ensure IAM compliance 
  • Support in ensuring our solution designs meet the organisation’s strategic needs.
  • Build relationships with third parties and other teams to identify risks and perform remediation involving Active Directory health and future strategy.
  • Developing and documenting the workflow process around permission management
  • Developing and improving process documentation 
  • Developing training materials 
  • Help with the streamlining and automation of manual processes 
  • Identify areas of Information Security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines that need to be refined or developed within toolsets and have not been implemented so far.
  • Mentor or coach junior members of the team and wider InfoSec colleagues to help develop IAM within Sainsbury’s Group.
  • Understand Security Functional and Non-Functional Requirements for each project and ensure that they are fulfilled prior to going into service.
  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of IAM Concepts such as Identity Governance, RBAC, Toxic combination management, Privileged Access Management and Monitoring
  • Privileged Access Management systems and methodologies including CyberArk and Microsoft Entra
  • Password Manager and other IAM related Product knowledge is beneficial 
  • Attention to detail and problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to digest existing data / information (IAM Background), ask the relevant questions and extract additional more detailed information from the experts in the Product, BAU Support and Business teams
  • Ability to collate and document detailed documentation and design workflow processes
