This is a full-time, permanent role working at our Hillcrest site, just outside of Loughborough.
Responsibilities
Line Management
· Using and continually developing leadership skills
· Delegating tasks based on members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
· Establishing and executing against tenant communication strategy
· Focal point of contact for Hillcrest UK tenants related to contract management and business
development
Contractual Compliance
· Contract management for tenants, licensees and facility management customers
· Accountable for ensuring contractual compliance
· Coordinates with site operations, facilities, business support services and management
· as needed to ensure service delivery in accordance with the contracts
· In partnership with procurement, coordinates with third-party suppliers as required to ensure
service delivery
· Work closely with the veterinary and regulatory compliance teams to ensure compliance and
animal welfare
Quality of Service
· Provides and analyses KPIs and proactively manages performance, ensuring consistent delivery
of services to a high standard
· Drives continuous improvement based on customer and tenant feedback, ensuring efficiency
· Proactively engages with the quality management system, raising and participating in quality
issue investigation, root cause analysis and CAPA implementation
· Thorough understanding of ISO SOP’s and work instructions and ensuring correct usage
Profitability
· Contributes to revenue and cost budgetary objectives for RMS Services
· Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing of rental income, products and services to
tenants and licensees
· Accountable for accurate and timely invoicing of rental income, products and services to facility
management customers
· Accountability for delivering Inotiv CRADL Services revenue AOP, by maintaining and growing
the customer base
· Accountability for collating competitor intel and determining competitive pricing, ensuring
profitability through the review of costing models
Business Development
· Subject matter expert (SME) for Inotiv CRADL Services
· Ensuring the growth of Inotiv CRADL Services
· Build customer engagement
· Understanding the scientific, operational and regulatory compliance needs of our tenants,
licencees and facility management customers
· Identifying and deliver opportunities for continuous improvement/ new product / service
development based on market trends
· Provides support to the commercial and marketing teams to promote and sell Inotiv CRADL
Services
· Delivery of sales training
· Drives participation in and completion of relevant RFPs, including preparation of RFP materials and competitive pricing, ensuring profitability · Attending relevant conferences/networking opportunities · Designing, organising and delivering talks, workshops and networking opportunities · Organising and leading business reviews · Collaborate with the facilities, operational and regulatory compliance teams to define and deliver opportunity pipeline · Stakeholder in Inotiv site infrastructure and aesthetics strategy · Seeking and establishing strategic partnerships
Qualifications
X 5 to 8 years’ experience in relevant scientific discipline.
X Minimum 3 years’ experience in Commercial / customer facing role in the life science industry.
X Strong knowledge and experience of the laboratory animal research industry including regulatory compliance requirements.
X Proficient with advanced skills using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
X Working knowledge of business-related processes/procedures terminology and compliance.
X Experience using Information Management/Project Management Systems.
X Ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
X Demonstrable leadership capabilities with the Ability to develop and foster a positive and productive team environment.
X Constructive and approachable.
X An individual who possesses initiative, drive, and flexibility with the ability to meet established timelines.
