Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Due to continuous growth and expansion, Servisource, part of the CPL Group, wishes to appoint a HR Coordinator based in the United Kingdom to sit within and support the HR function of the company.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Coordinator will provide HR operational and transactional support across all operating business units in the United Kingdom for our employees, our clients and our contingent workforce.

This role with involve hybrid working so the potential candidate must be based near one of our offices in the United Kingdom (Belfast, Bradford, Leeds, Redcar or Middlesbrough) and must have a willingness to travel to other offices when required.

Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the design, development and implementation of activities and initiatives to drive employee engagement.
  • Supporting with employee relations to ensure good morale and to promote a positive working culture.
  • Assisting with strategic HR team projects and suggesting changes and opportunity for improvements.
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition with new hire recruitment and onboarding processes when required.
  • Supporting Learning & Development with the coordination of training, and further learning and development initiatives when required.
  • Building personal brand and relationships with key stakeholders ensuring they adhere to all appropriate practices.
  • Advising line managers on basic queries relating to current policies and procedures always ensuring that HR best practice is maintained.
  • Conducting and supporting disciplinary proceedings ensuring accurate and timely resolution and documentation of concerns or issues.
  • Other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • 2+ year experience in a similar HR role
  • HR related qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding and practical experience of UK employment legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive, collaborative, can do attitude
  • High level of motivation and pride in what one does is key to success in this role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Full proficiency in IT systems particularly Microsoft Office suite
  • Full drivers’ licence and access to own transport
