We are looking for a HRBP to work our HQ location in London, this role is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3/4 days in the office in London.

The focus of this position will be partnering, fostering and building relationships with the Managment team, in order to support them in enhancing their people capability, planning and managing talent and developing approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives.

You will also support the wider HR team and will also support recruitment, performance management, employee relations, engagement and wellbeing.

Each day will be different, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on going simultaneously.

This position will require you to be highly organised, strong attention to detail and have effective communication.

You will need a strong sense and awareness of control, diligence and working to tight deadlines, balanced with ability to see the bigger picture.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work in partnership with the Heads of Departments and People Managers to understand the key activity and challenges across the departments.
  • To act as the first point of contact for HR matters, delegating where appropriate in order to provide quick, accurate advice on the best method of dealing with specific issues in their initial stages e.g. absence, maternity queries, probation reviews, grievance and disciplinary issues and performance related matters.
  • Manage end to end process for all investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Work in partnership with the HR Business Partner for Operations to produce a monthly analysis of HR KPI’s, providing reports, commentary, and recommendations to address any challenges.
  • Support HR Director on project work and any HR initiatives.
  • Maintain an awareness of HR employment law regulations and industry initiatives.
  • Support the resourcing team on recruitment, conducting interviews as and when needed across various departments and roles.
  • Project lead for all engagement and wellbeing Initiatives for HQ, working in conjunction with the Office Manager, Internal Communications Manager and HR Business Partner for Operations.

Requirements

  • Previous HR experience at Business Partner level in a Head office role within either a hospitality, hotel, or retail industry.
  • Experience of autonomously advising on all generalist HR matters, including ER issues, for example investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Experience of recruiting at Manager level, including conducting and supporting competency-based interviews
  • CIPD, or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and HR systems (ADP would be advantageous)
  • Exposure to dealing with Senior Stakeholders
