We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Housing officer based in the Northwest to join an already established housing association, who’s aim is to always provide a safe and supportive environment for vulnerable adults.

Whilst this role is largely office based, you will occasionally have to travel to different homes to conduct regular inspections of rental units to ensure compliance with housing standards.

The office for reference is in Oldham.

They work closely with outside support services and where useful, the voluntary sector to provide both a traditional and holistic approach to solutions.

The salary is in the region of £28,000 and also includes your standard holiday, a contributory pension and health insurance for any unexpected life issues you may incur.

Job Role: * Assist with the management and admin of housing operations * Maintain accurate records including tenant information and lease agreements * Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures for new and existing tenants * Help with any tenant inquiries and assist in resolving any issues or concerns * Conduct regular inspections of rental units to ensure compliance with housing standards * Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure all planned and preventive maintenance is carried out alongside any reactive works tooSkills and Qualifications: * Previous experience as a housing officer * Knowledge of Yardi or a similar property management software * Proficient in Microsoft office suite * Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entryIf you meet the above requirements and are interested in the Housing officer role, please click ‘apply now’ and a member of our team will be in contact
