Vacancy Description

We are looking for a dynamic Housing Management Support Officer to take responsibility for the management of a stock of properties within West Berkshire.

You must have excellent customer care skills, experience in housing and excellent time management skills dealing with conflicting priorities.

You also must be able to multi-task and take a hands-on approach to supporting our compliance in our role as a landlord and ensure that tenancy management such as lettings, breaches of tenancy and rent arrears are dealt with effectively and efficiently.

There is a strong emphasis on supporting people to sustain their homes and quality of life.

We provide advice for safeguarding and health and well-being on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, hoarding, tenancy management, mediation, life skills and the promotion of personal independence.

You will demonstrate your strength as a team player assisting with housing related projects such as, the implementation of a new housing ICT system to manage rent accounts and contribute towards changes in policies and procedures.
