Job Description
At Wise, we’ve got a clear mission — money without borders. Built by and for people who live global lives. We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our Pricing team. The team is responsible for helping ensure that Wise grows sustainably, and for ensuring our customers pay fair and transparent fees.
Your role will be to ensure that we make the best commercial decisions for Wise and our customers
What you will do
Pricing sits at the core of what our Mission at Wise - the team you will manage will run our monthly pricing process engaging with all stakeholders across the business to ensure our pricing is accurate, timely and transparent
Work with a cross functional team including Finance, Product and Marketing to develop our overall pricing strategy
Have a deep understanding our costs and product margins and support product teams in determining the best recovery mechanism while keeping in mind our Mission
Build pricing proposals on new products and revisit prices for existing products based on the value they generate for customers and our strategic objectives
Understand how our pricing impacts our company financials and customer level profitability
Communicate pricing developments within the organisation
Build effective pricing frameworks and processes to ensure we can make decisions quickly
Qualifications
The experience you’ll need
Experience in Pricing & Finance Strategy in a fast-paced related industry
Ideally experience in the payments industry - familiar with Cross Border / interchange / schemes
A strong business background, ideally with a mix of corporate, consulting and startup/tech experience
Strategic thinking: able to create long term plans for growth and translate them into actions
Comfortable with ambiguity and operating in a ‘test and learn’ culture, with a very high level autonomy and accountability
Ability to thrive in a very fast paced, scale up environment, and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up to make things happen
