Discover International is retained by a revolutionary and world-renowned global biotech company to find an experienced and visionary Vice President, Global Head of Commercial and Healthcare Compliance.

As the Vice President, you will provide direction and leadership for the global commercial and healthcare compliance function, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing the compliance framework, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks through effective risk management strategies and proactive monitoring will be key aspects of your role.

In addition to strategic responsibilities, you will lead and mentor a high-performing compliance team, promoting professional development and ensuring effective collaboration across functions.

Developing and delivering comprehensive compliance training programs to increase awareness and understanding among employees and stakeholders is essential.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Commercial, and Medical Affairs, to integrate compliance principles into business processes.

Staying informed about regulatory developments and trends, providing expert guidance and recommendations to senior leadership, is crucial.

You will oversee internal audits and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, driving continuous improvement.

Preparing and presenting compliance reports to executive management and the Board of Directors, ensuring transparency and accountability, will be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Law, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare compliance, including significant leadership experience in a global or multinational organization, is required.

Extensive knowledge of global healthcare regulations, industry standards, and compliance best practices is essential.

Exceptional leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels, are necessary.
