Boston Hale is currently working with one of London's largest charitable housing associations who are looking to recruit a Head of Financial Accounting and Control.

Daily Duties

Ensure internal controls and financial policies are reviewed and updated and ensuring these evolve with the organisations needs and changes to regulations
Manage the preparation of the group quarterly and bi annual statutory accounts and submission of regulatory returns
Lead and manage the interim and year end audit process
Analyse complex data, review solutions and reach data driven conclusions
Successfully mentor the financial accounting and control team supporting continuous learning and professional development
Prepare quarterly cashflow reports for key legal entities in the group

Required experience:

Fully qualified
Prior leadership experience within a similar environment
An understanding of complex regulations and financial management practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
A strategic thinker with the ability to provide expert technical knowledge
