Hair Dressing Apprenticeship Vacancy - We have a very exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate individual with interest in Afro-Caribbean Hair to train in a brilliant and busy salon. 

You will be employed by the salon and train under the amazing and talented stylists there along side our Skills coaches at Total Training Provision.

Position: Hair Dressing Apprentice Vacancy What we are looking for:

• A very driven individual - this is a fast paced salon and you will be expected to use your own initiative.

• Professional appearance - You should take pride in your professional appearance, be dressed appropriately and always be polite and professional.  
• Have an interest in Afro-Caribbean hair and braiding
• Any age can apply for an apprenticeship we are looking for the right fit!

We are looking for learners to join our training provider, you will be employed by a salon on train whilst on the job.

 We work 1 to 1 with the learners.

• This means they benefit from our personal time and are closely taught by our trainers who can observe their strengths and areas of improvement meaning we are creating strong and capable stylists that are not getting lost within large classes. 

Our Trainers are highly qualified experts who keep up to date with the industry.

• Our trainers are the reason we are successful with high pass rates and amazing and caring personalities they want your learner to get the best education.
• This means they stay up to date within the fast changing industry and are very good at what they do alongside being highly qualified. 

We offer bespoke training for you and your salon environment.

• We want to understand your needs and how your salon works, by spending time with you to create a bespoke training course for your learner. For example if you know you get a lot of clients wanting certain services we can focus on that as the main priority and build their education around this.

We come to you.

• Your apprentices learn in the salon, this means you don’t loose the staff due to day release to a college or academy.
• This is great because they are learning on the job and are working in your salon whilst you are employing them getting the most out of them for yourselves and the learner. 

We are OFSTED GRADE 2 rated.

• This is a fantastic achievement that we are proud of and it speaks volumes for the service we offer you. 

We offer Award Packages for the learners.

• At different stages of their journey the learners get awarded with different equipment to start building their kit.
• So say at month 3 they would receive a styling block and brush, at month 5 scissors and cutting comb and so on.
• This is a great incentive for the learners to keep motivation high and to give them the best start after the course.
