The role – Group Financial Accountant

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have group wide responsibility for the UK finance function.

You will have a highly varied role supporting all group locations, ensuring the highest standards of finance service provision are accurately always maintained.

Key Accountabilities will Include:

• Ensuring all operational finance activities meet company, client and industry requirements
• Preparation and control of all Management Accounts
• Ensure highest standards of financial controls and compliance are adhered to
• Work with all internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure continuous improvement of all elements of finance function
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes including preparation of financial projections and associated company performance
• Support all organisational audit activities
• Liaise with tax professionals and advisors to ensure company wide tax compliance

Who you are:

• Ideally qualified within a relevant accountancy discipline, you will have in-depth experience as a Financial Accountant with responsibility for company wide financial management and control
• You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in ensuring all finance function activities accurately meet company, client and industry/regulatory requirements
• You will possess first class verbal and written communication skills and be well versed in managing multiple internal and external stakeholder groups
• You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with highly effective IT and system knowledge
