Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Learning Support Assistant - Special Needs - SEN - SALT - ASD - SurreyAre you an outstanding Graduate looking to gain experience before pursuing a career as a Speech and Language Therapist? Are you motivated by supporting and helping children to reach their full potential?Look no further, as we have a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Leatherhead for children with additional learning needs. Most children have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), and an Autism diagnosis.This school are looking for a passionate and committed Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to work as a SEN Learning Support Assistant in their school for children aged 4-16. You will be supporting a small class of 7-10 students, working in partnership with the school's teaching staff, therapists and support staff team to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development and language acquisition.As an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SALT), and deliver interventions to children with speech, language and communicational needs both in a small group and 1:1.
