This contract is available to start on ASAP and we can offer up to 3 years to a successful candidate.Role: GangerLocation: Bedford Salary: £21.31 Per HourHours: ShiftContract: Contract TypeExperience: 2 years +Qualifications: Blue or Gold CSCS NVQ LVL 2 Skilled Card, SSSTS, CPCS preferable, Driving License. Please apply via link provided or directly at katie.djordjevic or (phone number removed)Ganger experienceYour role as a Ganger will be based in Bedford and will consist of:Lead and supervise a team of construction workers.Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and experience.Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality.Inspect completed work to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.Address any issues or deficiencies promptly to maintain quality.Monitor the progress of work and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.Perform risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate hazards.Maintain accurate records of work activities, progress, and any incidents.Complete and submit necessary reports and documentation as required.Ensure that all workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Report any incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.Based in Bedford remuneration for this role is £21.31 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.VGC is a leading provider of support services to the UK infrastructure industry.
