We are looking for a Fundraising Executive with experience particularly across Trusts, Grants and Major Donors, to join a well-regarded not-for-profit, focussing on education from GCSE aged students through to adults.


Candidates must demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in crafting well-researched and meaningful Grant Applications to secure funding from a range of Trusts and Grants. In addition, candidates should have experience cultivating and maintaining relationships with High Net Worth individuals.


Headquartered in Central London, this is a hybrid position - 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. Candidates looking for both part time (4 days) and full time will be considered.


Duties will include;

  • Ambassador for the charity and show passion for the cause
  • Securing donations and managing relationships with Trusts, Foundations and Major Donors
  • Identifying prospective new Trusts and Foundations, establishing a solid pipeline
  • Writing well-researched, detailed, engaging applications
  • Conduct and compile accurate reporting to Funders and monitor progress on the organisations database
  • Conduct due diligence checks on prospective Major Donors
  • Draft compelling marketing material for Major Donors – from canvassing through to acknowledgement of donation and invitations to events
  • Assisting the wider team with Fundraising and Awareness events throughout the year
  • Assisting with Fundraising reports
  • Assisting with keeping an up to date database


Your will have experience with:

  • Producing academic, tailored Trust and Foundation applications
  • Reporting for donors or other stakeholders
  • Researching and identifying new prospects
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to draft compelling material
  • Donor relationship management
  • Use of CRM databases
  • Not for profit organisations, including understanding of other fundraising areas
  • Highly numerical with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly personable
