FP&A Analyst in UK

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, VC backed SaaS business to appoint an FP&A Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership and responsibility to build a technically strong, data-focused and commercial FP&A function at a fast growing scale-up.
• You will build the core foundations of the FP&A function including; budgeting, sensitivity / scenario analysis, agile reforecasting, accurate and useful reporting for management, board and department leads - ensuring everything is focused on representing business performance against our key strategies
• Through your understanding of numbers, data and business drivers, you'll provide actionable insights and partner with business leaders on commercial decisions including product, customer or geographical expansion projects
• Understanding the business end to end - heavy working capital (balance sheet) implications. You will build a holistic view of the business across revenue, costs and balance sheet
• You'll help management make the best investment decisions and optimise use of working capital funds, ensuring spend stays within budget and runway targets
• Leverage data to build out useful dashboards and provide ad hoc analysis as needed
• Staying on top of applicable industry and economic trends so we can pre-empt how they may impact our business
• Opportunity to train finance colleagues on FP&A skills and best practice
• Keen to involve yourself with every aspect of finance - from processing invoices to supporting a fundraise, you'll support the full team however it's needed

Skill Required:

• Must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Experience working in a Venture Capital backed environment
• Ideally have experience/exposure to working within a high-growth, SaaS business
• Excellent financial and analytical modelling skills, as well as strong presentation skills
• Strong and effective communicator
• Ability to build relationships with the wider business
