They are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical FP&A Analyst to join the finance team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Position Overview: The FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic objectives of the business. This position involves analysing financial data, creating financial models, providing insights to guide decision-making, and managing key treasury functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Analyse financial performance and variances to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track financial metrics to assess business performance.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Treasury Management:
• Assist in the management of the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Monitor and forecast cash positions to optimise the company's financial resources.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Support the development and execution of the company’s investment strategy.
• Assist in the management of debt and capital market activities, including covenant compliance and reporting.
• Conduct foreign exchange analysis and manage currency exposure.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• 2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, treasury, investment banking, consulting, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with financial planning software is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
