Purpose Working directly with the CFO, as Finance Transformation Director you will lead a range of projects aimed at modernising and optimising financial processes, systems, and structures across A2Dominion.

This role is pivotal in transforming the service provision of Finance and Procurement shifting from accounting and reporting to value added business partnering ensuring that financial operations are efficient and effective end to end.

Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy•Develop and implement a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap aligned with A2Dominion’s strategic goals.

•Provide visionary leadership to the finance transformation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

•Role model great business partnering and work with the 2 other directors of finance to transform the business partnering skills of the team and drive a shift from accounting to value added services.

•Collaborate with the two other directors of Finance to ensure the delivery of quick wins and the more profound improvements for the functions and the business.

Project Management •Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of finance and procurement transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

•Utilise project management methodologies to track progress, manage risks, and ensure successful project outcomes.

•Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.

Process Improvement •Identify inefficiencies in existing financial processes and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity end to end.

•Drive automation and digitisation of financial processes to improve accuracy and reduce manual workloads.

•Develop and execute financial systems and technologies that support the transformation goals.

•Establish best practices for financial management, reporting and insight generation across the organisation.

•Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging financial technologies and their potential applications.

•Provide training and support to staff to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems.

Financial Reporting and Analysis •Building end to end processes for financial services and procurement (focussed on record to report and purchase to pay)•Implement robust financial reporting and Management Accounts including KPI frameworks and ad hoc reports to support informed decision making across the business.

•Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience •Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a track record of leading successful finance transformation projects within budget.

•Professional accounting qualification (, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.

•Extensive knowledge of financial systems, processes, and best practices.

•Experience within the housing sector or a similar not-for-profit environment is highly desirable.

•Ability to manage change effectively and influence stakeholders.

•Positive feedback from stakeholders on the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
