A fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join this growing real estate investment manager in a pivotal position overseeing all Corporate and Group reporting for their main UK/European legal entities. Experience working in-house in a fund or financial services company is essential, with a strong preference for someone ACA/CA qualified.


Working closely with the CFO, Partners and senior leadership team, this is a superb opportunity for someone looking to firm up their longer term leadership credentials in a boutique and entrepreneurial business.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the consolidation process for multiple entities within the organization, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with FRS 102 accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making. Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the implementation of new software for automating the consolidation process, collaborating with teams to configure the system, integrate data sources, and streamline workflows.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and addressing audit findings in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and execute adhoc financial projects and tasks, including data analysis, report generation and process re-design.


Your background:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, etc), ideally ex-practice trained.
  • Likely 4 to 5 years PQE or equivalent in financial management, consolidation and reporting.
  • Proven experience in consolidation, and reporting, preferably in a private equity, funds or a financial services organisation.
  • FCA regulatory reporting experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.


Salary on offer is around £80-85,000 base plus benefits and bonus. Hybrid working and West End (Green Park) office location.
