We are currently hiring for an individual with a strong work ethic and desire to creatively and actively apply themselves within our team.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance, the Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in providing timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis and support to business teams across the organisation. The individual will bring a commercial mindset and leverage their broad skill set to understand key growth drivers, business priorities, and identify process improvements to strengthen rapport and influence senior team members.  In-line with organisational growth, the individual is expected to be flexible given the opportunity to work across a range of exciting new projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

•      Collate and summarise daily trading data from clearers and prepare/upload journal entries into Sage

•      Analyse daily/YTD trading P&L data, creating summaries and answering queries from stakeholders

•      Support the FC in preparing insightful management information and ad-hoc reports

•      Analyse, identify, and monitor key trends in the financial statements to support enhanced management decision making

•      Support the creation of monthly/quarterly consolidated financial reports, and perform insightful analysis to identify trends and variances against budgets and forecasts

•      Support the preparation of segmental budgets and forecasts, cash-flow monitoring, inter-departmental reports, and other ad-hoc Finance tasks

•      Partner with Legal and ensure reporting complies with relevant law and financial regulations

Requirements

•      Professional Accounting Qualification(1) - ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent with a min. of 5 years PQE

•      Experience working in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking and delivering against firm deadlines

•      Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across a range of seniorities

•      Flexibility/adaptability to support different areas of the Finance team, and attention to detail

•      Proficient in Excel, and willing to learn new systems/tools (as required) e.g. Sage, Python, PowerBI, etc.

(1) Audit background whilst not essential would be preferred
